The throat chakra (also known as Vishuddha) is responsible for communication, self-expression, and the ability to speak your personal truth. This Chakra generates an unlimited feeling of joy and freedom which allows our abilities and skills to flourish. With this stage of development manifests a clear voice, oratorical and lyrical talent, as well as balance and mental calm.

Until the Chakra is fully developed, certain difficulties may be experienced. Blockages in Vishuddhi Chakra produce feelings of anxiety, lack of freedom, restriction, thyroid and throat problems. Difficulties in swallowing or speaking, which are not related to physical causes, may occur.
